NuuMed Sheepskin French Blinkers

NuuMed’s cheek pieces (also known as French Blinkers) are traditionally used to help a horse focus – particularly when jumping or racing. Each wool tube has a Velcro fastening down its length which secures it around your horse’s cheek pieces. In recent years these highly useful wool tubes have also found a whole host of other uses including as rein sleeves for extra sensitive horses who are prone to rubs on their necks, particularly when clipped and/or rubber reins are used. Other uses include stirrup leather sleeves for endurance riders, covers for training aids such as Chambon & Pessoas or just about any strap that (although it fits) is causing some skin sensitivity. Great for when trying to preserve a coat for the show season. Ideal for helping to focus a horse particularly when jumping. Regularly used for racing. These French Blinkers are made with dense, soft British wool and Velcro fastenings.
