Zilco Race Hood with Neoprene Ears

The Zilco Race Hood with neoprene ears is made from four way stretch elastane material for a close fit and is fastened with clips and elastic straps under the jaw.

It features neoprene ears to help reduce noise for the nervous horse on race days or whilst travelling.

The BHA Board have approved a rule change to allow horses to wear a red hood to the start (but not in the race).

A hood that is to be worn during the race can be any colour other than red.
